Who we are

Began as a grassroots, volunteer-driven initiative by brothers Geoffrey and Pierre Hall in 2003 in their hometown of Warren, Vermont. Growing up in a challenging climate for wood ramps and lacking the funds to hire a professional company, they took it upon themselves to learn the trade. By 2005, they secured approval from the town of Warren to construct a concrete skatepark, which they have been building in phases as funding allows.

Over the years, Geoffrey and Pierre honed their skills working for some of the most respected skatepark construction companies in the industry. In April 2021, they launched Catamount Skateparks and have since worked on projects nationwide and throughout their home state of Vermont.

Their passion for skateboarding, which began in 1998, has taken them across the country, both skating and constructing concrete skateparks. What started as a volunteer effort to build ramps evolved into a career in concrete construction, forming lifelong connections and invaluable experience.

While Catamount Skateparks specializes in skatepark design and construction, the team also focuses on foundations and flatwork when working locally in Vermont. However, every project brings them back to their roots—building creative, durable spaces for skateboarding communities.
